ExtractKit is a purely client-side tool. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, extension source code, or browsing history to our servers.

• Web Tool: When you download an extension via our website, the request is routed through a standard CORS proxy strictly to bypass browser restrictions. The extension file (.crx) is downloaded and parsed directly within your browser's memory using JavaScript.
• Chrome Extension: The extension operates entirely offline once installed. It reads extension metadata locally using the `chrome.management` API and fetches source files directly from Google's servers to your local machine.

2. Third-Party Services

We rely on Google's Chrome Web Store API (`clients2.google.com`) to fetch the extension `.crx` files. When a download is initiated, standard network requests are made to these Google servers, which are subject to Google's own Privacy Policy.

3. Cookies and Tracking

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any analytics tools that monitor your individual usage behavior.

4. Open Source and Transparency

ExtractKit is designed for security researchers and developers. All logic used to parse and extract ZIP/CRX files runs visibly in your browser context. You are encouraged to inspect our source code (ironically, using ExtractKit itself) to verify these privacy claims.
